APPLICATION:
The hydrogen concentration sensor is used in a fuel cell system for detecting too high H2 concentrations in case of any failure. The sensor is located in the fuel cell system’s exhaust gas channel.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE:
The exhaust gas is a mixture of cathode waste gases (humid air) and anode waste gases (hydrogen).
Eltek Hydrogen concentration sensor is based on catalytic combustion technology and, so that, is intrinsically not sensitive to humidity and not affected by other hydrocarbons (high H2 selectivity).
Fast response time (< 100msec) and function in dynamic condition (up to 50 m/sec gas speed) are also guaranteed.
H2 concentration range up to 5% Vol or up to 10% Vol.
